03 September 2015 – In an effort to reach out to as many kababayans as possible, the Philippine Embassy in Rome, in cooperation with the Gruppo de l’Associazione Filipine di Catanzaro (GAFIC), conducted its first-ever consular outreach mission in the city of Catanzaro from August 27 to 28.
The outreach serviced around 100 Filipinos, with 53 e-Passports, 25 notarials and other consular services rendered. Seventy (70) new overseas voters were also registered.
The consular outreach team was led by Philippine Consul General Leila Lora-Santos.
The next outreach mission is scheduled on September 05 to 06 in Bari in the region of Puglia, south of Italy.
